About The Man Who Killed Don Quixote 💬

The latest film by legendary filmmaker Terry Gilliam is a passion project.

Inspired from Cervantes' classic novel, the film stars Adam Driver as a high-headed director of commercials, and Jonathan Pryce as a man who believes he is Don Quixote. When the two men encounter again years later, they get involved in a contemporary Don Quixote story that includes a relentless Russian oligarch, a racist producer, and ex-lovers. The production tale of the film which begins in the 1990s was hindered many times with illness, lawsuits, financial burdens, and even a flood, and its non-making-of story was the subject of a documentary called Lost in La Mancha dated 2002.
