• Evil waits again on the side of the road.

Still haunted by the past, Jim Halsey (C. Thomas Howell) returns to the same desolate stretch of West Texas road with his devoted girlfriend, Maggie (Kari Wuhrer). A strange hitchhiker, Jack (Jake Busey), soon begins to track their every move, and their journey for redemption quickly becomes an unnerving race for survival against a terrifying new threat.
