When political turmoil forces British-Caribbean dictator Anton Vincent (Michael Caine) to flee his island nation, he seeks refuge in the most unlikely of places, with rebellious teenage girl Tatiana Mills (Odeya Rush) and her mother Darlene (Katie Holmes) in suburban America.
